“At Pine Haven, we’ve designed a community where architecture and nature coexist in harmony.
Thoughtfully designed homes that do not outshine the beauty of the Coconino Forest, but rather keep the focus on the natural beauty of the land.
We have centered the wellness amenity hub to invite residents to embrace a lifestyle of balance, health, and connection to the land” - Mark Lind, Lead Architect
The design inspiration
The interior design of Pine Haven is inspired by Flagstaff’s natural landscape, reflecting the surrounding trees and mountains. A palette of greens and blues evokes the serenity of the Coconino Forest, while natural wood flooring brings warmth and organic texture. Expansive glazing floods the homes with light, strengthening the connection to the outdoors. Inside, the design complements natural stone exteriors, creating a seamless flow from rugged landscapes to refined, earthy interiors — embodying Pine Haven’s vision of harmony, simplicity, and elegance.

Living well in Flagstaff, AZ.
Pine Haven's wellness center features cold plunges, saunas, and a Japanese meditation room. These spaces provide residents with opportunities for relaxation, health, and self-care, reinforcing the community’s emphasis on balancing modern living with well-being.
The trail system is a central part of Pine Haven’s design, offering residents direct access to nature and encouraging outdoor activities like walking, hiking, and reflecting in the serene beauty of the forest. This trail system preserves the community’s connection to the natural landscape while fostering an active, health-conscious lifestyle.
By incorporating a red light therapy and Japanese meditation room into the community wellness center, Pine Haven deepens its commitment to holistic living. This thoughtfully designed space blends ancient mindfulness practices with modern wellness technology, offering residents a sanctuary for restoration, reflection, and rejuvenation.
